Ok so this is a topic that has been open for discussion for a while. Before we can start the Development of SMO we need to get the following points in Order;

Should the game be in 2D or 3D?

With 3D it will allow for more character customization and many other things. 2D is very limited

What Engine should we use?

There are many engines such as Rpg Maker vx, Unity, Microsoft XNA, UDK (Unreal development kit), among many more engines.

I would like for everyone to express their opinions about the subject.

i personally think we should shoot for 3d, but if its too hard then we do 2d, as for what engine it should depend on what has the best ratings by us and others

2D faster devlopment and etc or atleast work on 2D get something up to play then work on 3D while the 2D is running

I think we should just stick with rmvx for now then we can start using 3dalso i can now do scripts for rmvx and I found loads of paperdoll stuff and I can make new paperdolls.

I found loads of new scripts and have scripted some more but paper doll will be hard with mack sprites so I think we should just stick with the normal small rmvx sprites
